Artists should bring up to two (2) pieces of work. We would ask that they be either paintings or drawings - in progress or completed. Artists should come prepared to talk about their work and attend with question(s) about their work. This group is meant to ENHANCE your work or help move you the next step. It is also an opportunity to meet with other artists in the community. You do not have to be an artist to attend these groups.We have had non-artists and they add an important component to these groups.
After the critique group, there will be an art discussion.
This may be about your individual process of doing art, shows that may be coming up, an individual artist or art period, commissioned art v. non-commissioned art and anything else you may want to speak on.
Again, we invite the community to share in these discussions.
We meet from 6:30 until we are done.
